CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

1. Bauble Love Jewlery is special and all hand-crafted in our workshops.
2. Your jewelry should be stored in a dry place away from humidity, moisture and extreme temperatures.
3. Rings and bracelets should be worn sparingly to avoid damage through impact.
4. Don´t forget to remove your rings when washing up or showering, as soap particles may become lodged in stone settings and crevices. Soaps can also leave a film over metal and stones, creating a dull appearance.
5. Store your jewelry in its own box or pouch to prevent scratching, chipping and entanglement.
6. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth will restore the original brilliance of the surface.
7. Do not use liquid cleaners for carved vintage jewelry as the liquid dries into the engraving.
8. If you wear your gold plated silver jewelry for significant periods of time, the plating will eventually wear down. To restore its appearance, you can have it re-plated.
9. Make sure your jewelry is not in regular contact with hard surfaces, which will scratch or wear down the plating or enameling.
10. Never use detergent, soap, toothpaste etc to clean your jewelry.
11. When dressing, jewelry should always be put on last as make up, cosmetics and perfumes can cause damage to delicate items.
12. All stone jewellery requires extra care and consideration during wearing to protect the setting as well as to safeguard the diamond or gemstone it holds.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

We started Bauble Love with one fundamental belief that materialism is good when done right. Based on the idea that the things we accumulate during our lifetime are the things that are most dear to us, they should be things that bring us joy and add value to our life.

We design, craft and curate
heirloom pieces of jewelry inspired by the past and nostalgia of an era lost to time for modern everyday wear. Using traditional techniques mixed with impeccable workmanship, hand picked and self manufactured materials to ensure the last you a lifetime. We are often asked when will the next jewelry collective come out but we are conscious to introduce smaller capsule collectives with great products. All of our pieces are handmade in small batches on a rotation schedule. We are redefining the concept of jewelry essentials and layering the process with depth, technique, and thought.

OUR ARTISANS

Artisans are the backbone to our success and yet are the most under represented and underpaid and least secure jobs. Fashion is one of the largest industrial employers of skilled and semi-skilled labor worldwide, yet only an estimated 2% of fashion workers are paid a livable wage. We work very closely with our artisans and individual entrepeurers and believe them to be equal stake holders of our brand. With fare wage regardless of units or products made, the comfort of working from home and a no bargain pricing policy we are focused on providing our artisans with a life we dream for ourselves.

OUR MATERIALS

we strike a balance between recycled and fairly mined materials that support communities dependent on the industry. Traceability is important because it allows us to validate the authenticity of the material and improve the social and environmental impacts of our pieces. As we grow globally and expand our networks, maximizing the transparency and traceability of our supply chain is our ultimate goal.
